History

1956 - The Samos

Creation of the SAMOS (Ardennes Company of Tooling and Welding Mechanics)

1976 - Ardennes Equipement

The SAMOS becomes ARDENNES EQUIPEMENT. The manufacture of buckets becomes the main activity of the company. ARDENNES EQUIPEMENT extends the range of its products to earthmoving and rehandling grabs as well as grapples.

1993 - Purchase of AMECA

Acquisition of AMECA (a demolition tools manufacturer). Arden Equipment revised the range, improved product quality, and quickly became the French leader in the demolition tool market.

1997 - International markets

ARDENNES EQUIPEMENT changes its name to ARDEN EQUIPMENT in order to facilitate its penetration on international markets.

1998 - Full range of tools

Through the successive acquisitions of POMPEY EQUIPMENT in France, COTACH in Holland and GTS in Germany ARDEN EQUIPMENT becomes  one of the only French "Full Liner" to offer a full range of tools.

2000 - Invention of the CU

Invention of the quick and secure jaw change system on a demolition shear, the famous CU.

2006 - Establishment in Slovakia

Creation of ARDEN EQUIPMENT Slovakia. In order to remain a leader in the manufacture of mini-excavator buckets, Arden Equipment buys land in Slovakia and builds a factory dedicated to buckets there.

2016 - Invention of the Arden'Jet

Invention of the ArdenJet. First factory integrated water spraying system on a demolition grapple. Awarded many times for its innovation across Europe.

2018 - Invention of the AIO range: All In One quick coupler

The AIO (All In One) is an automatic quick coupler system for 12 to 40-ton excavators that allows the operator to automatically connect all hydraulic and mechanical tools from the cabin. This system enables quick and safe switching between tools.

2022 - Invention of the demolition beam

The demolition beam is a device mounted on a lifting machine (such as a crane) and enables the demolition of extremely tall concrete or steel structures, especially those over 100 meters high.

2024 - Invention of the interchangeable solution

The interchangeable solution helps optimize worksites. From the cabin, the user can adapt a single excavator to switch between handling mode and demolition/recycling mode.

2024 - Launch of the Mini-Blue range

Mini-Blue grapples were designed to meet your handling and sorting needs across various sectors such as earthmoving and landscaping, for mini-excavators ranging from 0.8 to 6 tons.

Nowadays - Current situation

Arden Equipment remains the only French manufacturer to offer a complete range of tools. The company has 7 international subsidiaries in Belgium, Great Britain, Spain, Germany, Russia, Slovakia and the United States.
